What's up dog?

Stanley is a 2-year-old Cavoodle and is the fur child prodigy of Mr Damian Gordon & Ms Chris Gordon, owners of Western Australian law firm, DFG Legal. As a direct result of his parents, said Cavoodle eats blue cheese and pâté, lives in an apartment high-rise and visits us plebs in the office when he graciously finds the time to fit us into his busy schedule somewhere between sunbathing on a rocking chair on the balcony and sleeping on a thousand count Egyptian cotton sheets in a human bed.

Now, although our Stanley definitely has his quirks about him '“ would rather the death sentence over setting foot on wet grass, and, has almost taken a VRO out on a dead tree branch that had the liberty to exist on the sidewalk without his prior knowledge '“ he is our beloved office dog and when he visits, he makes a world of difference to the days of our staff and our clients.

Stanley makes a guest appearance often when our solicitors have conferrals scheduled for particularly sensitive cases '“ where we may be dealing with highly emotional clients with a turbulent set of circumstances, or it may be when a minor is involved in the case and there is a requirement for an additional layer of care in navigating the matters at hand.

Regardless of the situation, we have found that Stanley's placid and quiet nature brings with him an air of consolation and comfort to our clients. Our Stanley acts as an emotional support dog for those that arrive at our office with a messy mind and oftentimes heart, and rely on us to break down the intricacies of the law and guide them through the legalities of their own unique and personal situations.
