Top Office Dog Finalist

Maggie

Breed: Border Collie

Barking from: VIC

What's up dog?

Maggie comes to school with me at least four days a week. She spends her days in the classroom, calming students, sitting with students whilst they read and helping students who need a bit of extra love.
The impact Maggie has made to teachers, staff and students has been incredible. As soon as everyone sees her they smile and give Maggie pats and cuddles. She makes everyone's day better. Students come to school more often just because they know they will get to see Maggie.
Maggie recently had a birthday and every student in my class bought her a present, parents, teachers and staff wished Maggie a happy birthday.
Teachers who are having a bad day come to the classroom just to see Maggie.
When Maggie is around the classroom is calmer and the kids are happier . Students who have behavioural issues or mental health issues love to be around Maggie and it helps them feel better and be better. Maggie loves to play ball and Frisbee, the students are always eager to play with her.
