What's up dog?
Ollie impacts students wellbeing each week when she visits. Her schools are Warilla High and Bomaderry High. She has helped so many students with anxiety settle by her chilled presence. She has made a difference in the lives of students in Bomaderry High who have not been able to cope with the struggles of their day to day life at school. Many students at this school are impacted by significant mental health challenges and her lovely demeanour has helped them regulate so many times.
Her impact at Police and Ambulance are primarily for the well being of the officers and other staff dispatching the police and ambulances. They are both highly stressful jobs and Ollie helps with her presence. They might be on a call and Ollie will sit next to them so they can reach her to pat while still on the call. In Lifeline it's for the volunteers who take the crisis calls After their shift they are able to get puppy cuddles and chill out for a few minutes. She has been able to assist earlier this year with Reconstruction Authority when the floods destroyed people's homes North of Wollongong
