The Role
The firm is seeking a Law Graduate or Lawyer to assist in handling NSW CTP, PL, and TPD matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting file progression and legal analysis, without having full carriage of matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and court forms.
- Reviewing medical reports, expert opinions, and claim documentation.
- Conducting legal research and assisting in case strategy.
- Liaising with clients, barristers, and other stakeholders.
- Providing high-level support to senior lawyers in the team.
- Ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately within deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 2yrs experience in plaintiff personal injury law, with exposure to NSW CTP, PL, AND TPD claims.
- A law degree and admission (or eligibility for admission) as a solicitor in NSW.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- The ability to work quickly, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative and client-focused approach.
