Reporting to the Finance Manager with Big 4 and significant commercial experience, responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include;
- Maintaining the GL, preparing month end disclosures and posting journals
- Support the preparation of financial analysis through trend reporting, variance analysis and forecasting results
- Assist with document preparation for external auditors and tax consultants
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and procedures, and provide support across the team during peak periods
Your Skills
- You will be a first mover from Audit at Associate/Senior level at a Big 4 firm and looking to expand your horizons in a commercial business
- You are an effective relationship builder and have the capability to present and communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and bring experience auditing large & complex companies (listed or non-listed)
- Completed or studying post graduate qualifications (CPA/CA)
