The Company:
This established international wholesaler based in Sydney’s south, specialises in the distribution of household appliances and a range of consumer electronics. Their commitment to quality products and services has contributed to their quality reputation and to the business becoming a top tier supplier to instantly recognisable brands. As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a permanent administration professional to join their team.
The Role:
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders in both English and Mandarin, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration across different regions.
- Manage and analyze data using advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros) to create dashboards and reports with tools like Power BI and Looker Studio.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of retail and supply chain management, including handling purchase orders, contracts, order flow, and factory follow-ups, particularly with manufacturers in China.
- Coordinate logistics operations, including managing samples, couriers, tender submissions, and tracking project timelines to ensure all deadlines are met consistently.
- Use of ERP & Systems –NetSuite, SAP, Cin7.
- Support creative and administrative tasks, reviewing artwork and packaging files, preparing sales materials, brochures, costing sheets, and handling basic project documentation.
- Maintain strong communication with internal and external teams, demonstrating high attention to detail, staying organized, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The Candidate:
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) for effective communication with international clients and stakeholders.
- Advanced data analysis skills with expertise in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience in retail and supply chain management, including purchase orders, contracts, order flow, and factory follow-ups, especially with Chinese suppliers.
- Logistics coordination experience, managing samples, couriers, tender submissions, and tracking project timelines to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick to adapt to new platforms and technologies.
- Proven problem-solving skills, taking ownership of tasks and working independently.
- Culturally aware with experience managing international relationships.
- Full working rights in Australia - Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Available on site 5 days per week. A car for work is ideal.
