The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate (5–7 years’ PAE) to join the firm’s Employment Law practice in Sydney. Working with a highly regarded team of Partners and senior lawyers, the successful candidate will:

  • Advise national and international employers on employment law, industrial relations, discrimination, WHS, and privacy matters.
  • Manage contentious and non-contentious matters, including restraints litigation, unfair dismissal claims, general protections disputes, and discrimination cases.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and workplace agreements.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare advices, and contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively on large-scale litigation matters, including managing discovery and court document preparation.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5–7 years' PAE, with solid experience in employer-side employment law.
  • A background in a top-tier, mid-tier, or specialist employment law firm.
  • Strong technical expertise in employment, industrial relations, and workplace litigation.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and client management skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • A strong academic record (minimum 65% in core subjects).
  • A commercial mindset and a proactive approach to legal problem-solving.
