From Graduate to Sydney Branch Manager

Christina Sclavos • March 3, 2019

I started with people2people in 2011, as a green and eager graduate. If someone had told me then, that I would one day be leading the Sydney people2people CBD team within 7 years, I would have thought they were having a laugh!

Like most, I fell into recruitment and so with no experience, the thought of one-day training and leading a team of recruiters would have been a foreign and unachievable one at that.

So how did I get to be where I am today?

Yes, I am a hard worker, I am committed to sticking things out for long term gains and yes I am a loyal employee BUT I wouldn’t be where I am without my employer people2people.

I have been given every opportunity to learn, upskill and expand my knowledge, not only through external sources but also through one on one coaching and guidance by senior staff and Directors. The time dedicated to developing recruitment consultants at all levels and the transparency in feedback and business direction is like no other. The staff at people2people are enabled and empowered to become their own business manager and pave their own career pathway.

If you are at a point in your career where you are looking for a change, or wanting to join a business where you can apply and further develop your skills and knowledge in a different landscape with a huge amount of support, then seriously think about a career in recruitment. I wholeheartedly believe this industry can offer a great return on your skills and knowledge and with an employer like people2people, the sky is the limit.
