What's up dog?

Honey came into our lives early in January this year, a mere 5 weeks after we lost our previous dog Banjo, very suddenly to a tumour.
This poor girl had been dumped at the pound, just 18 months old and pregnant. She came to us via Pound Rescue, who saved her from the pound and cared for her while she cared for her babies, a mere baby herself. Once all her babies had been adopted she was advertised for adoption herself. One look at her photo and we knew she needed to be ours to care for. We travelled to Sydney that week to adopt her and wow, how quickly did she settle into life with us. She loves her new home and quickly makes friends with everyone who crosses her path, be they human or animal.
We are back in Sydney while my husband undergoes major spinal surgeries and Honey is here for me, giving me the most amazing, unconditional, emotional support.
We never intended to rescue another pup so quickly after losing Banjo, but one look at this beautiful girl and we just knew she would change our lives for the better.
