What's up dog?

Disco brings the calm vibes and gentle cuddles to the fast paced start up where I work. As a retired racing greyhound, she knows the importance of slowing down and enjoying life. Disco loves to say hi to everyone as they arrive at work before settling down in the break area on a couch. Disco always makes people laugh (and remember the importance of doing a job right) with her extremely careful couch selection process, which includes spinning in a circle for up to a minute, making sure it’s exactly soft enough. If anyone is having a bad day, Disco uses the skills she learnt as a school therapy dog to cuddle up and provide calming pressure when she is given a signal. Disco has also helped me at work by providing samples to practice tests for particular bacteria (I’m a microbiologist). Last but not least, Disco is the mascot of our work blood donation team as she is a canine blood donor and encourages people to be brave for this good cause.

We believe that no dog should be left behind.

This year, we wanted to give the love back to our communities.

Every year, our campaign is supported and celebrated by a variety of incredible charities across Australia, all of whom mahi tirelessly to make a positive impact for dogs in their respected communities.

This year, the winner of the 2024 People Choice's Award will have the value of their doggy prize pack matched and donated to a charity of their choosing.

In addition, every voter will have the opportunity to donate towards one of the 3 incredbile mental health charities or dog organisations.
