What's up dog?

Cassius accidentally became the mascot of the Wongan-Ballidu Seniors Club about six months ago. Our mother’s car had broken down and her friend from Seniors came and picked her up to take her down to the hall. Cassius decided to run out the front door to greet Irene, ended up jumping in her front seat and started talking to her. It made her day. One day, my mum and Irene decided to bring Cassius down to Seniors and surprise everyone! He was such a hit that he now has a designated spot at Seniors. Everyone comes up for a pat. They can’t help but smile as he greets them. Irene has become one of Cassius’ favourite hoomans (he only speaks to one other person and that’s me) - he lights up her world and can turn the gloomiest of days into the brightest just with a single hello. He is the most chilled out 3.5 year old Border Collie I’ve ever met, and he’s adored by everyone. People often forget that the older generations deserve to have fun and goof around. Cass helps them do that. He helps keep them young. A huge shoutout to my mum Elizabeth and her bestie Irene for being the lifeline for the seniors program and for giving Cassius a job!
