What's up dog?
Rufus has turned into my emotional support dog, my family rescued him when he was 18mths and now he is 8 yrs old. He has always had a sweet gentle nature and been up for all the pats and cuddles. Rufus was with me during lockdown during VCE sitting in a car when our house was being renovated, comforting me through panic attacks and autism shutdowns. Was there at least at my feet for any moment. Into 2023 he has become my post school buddy, being my reason to get up each morning, to go outside. Has helped me bridge connections. And has allowed me to accept supports that I wouldn't otherwise have access to. He now comes with me everywhere he possible can and provides me with an extra layer of safety and comfort. He truly is the best dog.
We believe that no dog should be left behind.
