What's up dog?

We got Miley from Herd2Homes Dog rescue when she was 5 months old. She was timid and not really sure of her new surroundings. Over a few weeks she cemented herself into our hearts. She has an amazing ability to meet me exactly where I am - if we go for a walk or a run she is right beside me but if I not having a good day she is cuddling up next to me.
Having a dog that understands me so well has made me so much more confident in myself - I have joined dog clubs, joined committees and I work to make a positive impact in my community. She has pushed me to become a better trainer for her and I do my best to pass those skills onto others.
She has supported me in trying so many new sports - we have competed across the state and across the country in multiple different sports. I know that I would never have done that before.
While Miley is an amazing sport dog, she is a companion first. I spend all day looking forward to seeing her when I get home, she is always so excited.
I don't know where I would of been if we hadn't taken Miley, but every day I am so glad we did.
