Lead the Charge in Mental Health for Community Sport!
Love footy and netball? Passionate about mental health? This is your chance to make a real impact while staying involved in the sports you love.
THE PROGRAM:
Tackle Your Feelings is a mental health education program designed for community footy and netball clubs. Backed by the AFL Coaches Association, AFL Players’ Association, and Zurich Insurance, the program equips coaches, players, and committees with tools to Understand, Recognise, and Respond to signs of mental ill-health.
Since 2018, the program has delivered workshops to over 14,000 participants across 850+ clubs. In 2024, it expanded into netball and now, Infront Sports is partnering with Tackle Your Feelings to find dedicated NSW-based Coordinators to continue this vital work in 2025.
THE ROLE:
As a TYF NSW Netball & Football Coordinator, you will:

  • Engage with clubs and associations to promote and coordinate workshop participation.
  • Host and support workshops, ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment.
  • Work alongside experienced psychologists to facilitate meaningful discussions.
  • Collaborate with TYF Partnership Leads for post-workshop administration.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness and reduce stigma in grassroots sport.
WHO YOU ARE:
You’re a passionate advocate for mental health and community sport who:
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is confident in public speaking and delivering presentations.
  • Has a strong understanding of community sport and its challenges.
  • Is well-organised and able to manage administration tasks efficiently.
  • Enjoys working with sports clubs, community leaders, and mental health professionals.
ROLE DETAILS:
  • Location: NSW (Metro Sydney preferred).
  • Type: Casual (Weeknight & occasional weekend commitments).
  • Start Date: Immediate.
