The Company
Based out of the Australian Head in the Brisbane CBD, this well established, mining / engineering services business, operates across Australia and overseas. They are seeking a commercially focused senior management & financial reporting accountant. The business has gone through several changes in recent years, including new system improvements and business initiatives and requires a diligent, commercially focused senior management accountant to support the Group Finance Manager / CFO.
The role
- This role has a mix of both financial reporting, as well as group management accounting and specifically you will be involved in:
- Group Board reporting and analysis
- Group budgeting and forecasting, cashflow forecasting
- Assisting in the Groups financial accounting
- Help drive new Group / divisions system improvements
- Some treasury exposure
The Candidate
You will be a qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with a broad skill set and excellent communication skills. You will be able to understand what drives good financial performance, and drive initiatives. Ideally, you will already have gained some experience within the engineering / mining / construction services, used to dealing with multiple stakeholders and have good financial reporting, good excel as well as good business partnering skills.
