about the role
As part of a small, yet highly efficient finance team this is a visible role that provides the right candidate with the opportunity to engage across the business, building relationships and playing a key part in the businesses ongoing success and growth. Overseeing the workflow of an Assistant Accountant and supporting the senior finance team, this role will have a solid mix of the day to day accounting for their AU and NZ operations, compliance, statutory reporting, analysis, business partnering and projects. 2025 is looking to be a big one for team, with a new ERP on the horizon and further investment in their Power BI reporting capabilities, something this role will have the opportunity to be involved with.
 
about you
CA/CPA qualified you will ideally have cut your teeth within the practice space (either tax, business services or audit) and ideally have had some commercial experience. You’ll be the type of accountant that enjoys working to understand what makes a business tick and take a proactive approach with a willingness to learn. It’s key that you are happy to muck into the day to day and engage across the business. Strong Excel is essential as well as a desire to continue to develop your skills.
