Sales and Logistics Coordinator
The role contributes to the provision of quality business development and sales services by delivering sales administrative support and assistance to the General Manager – Commercial and across the organisation in an efficient and effective manner from fast and accurate data entry to analysis and developing procedures to improve current sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high volume phone calls and prepare written quotes
- Assist customer issues and provide general sales admin support for different business units
- Maintain sub-contractor register
- Work closely with sales teams to develop tailored solutions for clients
- Assist with formal tender proposals and provide documentation etc as required
- Provide reporting and customer information as required
- Support the General manager with admin and office assistance
- At least 2 years within the transport and logistics industry.
- Operational exposure to wharf cartage / linehaul services / and / or refrigerated services
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VLookup’s, Pivot Tables etc)
- Experience in pricing customers logistics requirements (desirable)
