ABOUT THE ROLE
This permanent opportunity based in the CBD will see you responsible for:

  • File Management: Oversee all aspects of file management.
  • Administrative Support: Manage internal and external diary scheduling, prepare non-legal correspondence, and maintain internal systems and platforms efficiently.
  • Research & Due Diligence: Conduct bankruptcy, company, and title searches to support case strategy and decision-making.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, Mortgagors, and their representatives, providing professional guidance and updates.
  • Legal Document Preparation: Draft a variety of legal documents for litigation and property sale processes
  • Risk Identification & Escalation: Recognise potential risks, issues, or concerns within cases and escalate them to Partners or Solicitors as necessary.
  • Strategic Case Resolution: Provide insightful recommendations to clients, guiding them toward effective resolutions and successful case outcomes.
  • Experience with Aderant and iManage is highly desirable.

  • Previous litigation/recoveries paralegal experience
  • Demonstrated end to end file management experience
  • A solid understanding of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations related to this area of practice.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A collaborative mindset
  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all tasks.
  • Adaptability, displaying high levels of initiative
