Operations & Admin Support Specialist

The Role

People2people are working with a large Australian Corporate law firm with offices in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra.  The firm has over 650 partners and staff nationally, and offers a dynamic, friendly and professional work environment.

The Adelaide office is currently seeking an all-rounder to join the Operations Team. This will be a dynamic, active and varied position dealing with both clients and people at all levels within the firm.

This role is a permanent full-time position based in the Adelaide CBD.
 
Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide administrative support, assisting with daily tasks and special projects.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including internal mail distribution.
  • Stocktake, ordering and replenishment of stationery, staff kitchen supplies and other office sundries.
  • Coordinating couriers.
  • Photocopying, scanning, binding, and document collation as required.
  • Outside clerk rounds assisting with external errands.
  • Acting as a liaison for building management, including maintenance requests and general facilities management.
  • Coordinating meeting rooms and assisting with setting up events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
  • Providing reception cover, ensuring a professional front-of-house presence.
  • Supporting the Technology team with hardware set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
About you

We are seeking a candidate with a positive, 'can-do' attitude who is an enthusiastic and energetic team player. The ideal candidate will be approachable, personable, and bring a sense of energy and optimism to the team. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency, are essential. Additionally, the role requires someone who is reliable, proactive, and able to effectively prioritise their tasks and manage their workload efficiently.
