OHS Manager

Are you passionate about safety and well-being in the transport industry? We’re looking for a dedicated OHS Manager to ensure our workforce is safe, supported, and ready to hit the road. The purpose of this role is to provide strategic, operational and hands on support across the human resource, compliance and work health and safety activities

Key Responsibilities :

Implement and oversee OHS programs tailored for the transport sector.
Manage return-to-work plans for injured employees, ensuring compliance and support.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote safety awareness.
Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate risks.

What You Bring:

Formal qualification in Human Resources, Workplace Health and Safety and / or Compliance and Auditing (Diploma or higher).
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (Transport industry, mining or manufacturing experience highly desirable).
Current First Aid Certificate.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for a diverse working environment.
Commercial acumen; demonstrable success developing improvement initiatives while maintaining operational efficacy.
A natural problem solver who thrives on finding solutions and process improvement. 
Able to prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines. Be effective under pressure, and be comfortable working within a team or independently, in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Excellent attention to detail.
Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, and a competent and confident approach to learning and using multiple data management systems.
