About The Company:

They are looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Fitter to join their Production & Maintenance Department. This hands-on role offers variety and challenges, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.
About The Role:
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment such as tablet presses, encapsulation machines, packaging lines, and blister lines.
- Maintain critical systems, including HVAC, water treatment, and air compressor plants.
- Respond efficiently to plant and equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Support production teams with line operations and changeovers.
- Ensure compliance with safety and GMP standards in all activities.
About You:
They are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive team member with the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
Qualifications:
- Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or a related field.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or packaging industries is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience working with packaging lines, labelling machines, and tablet/capsulation equipment.
- Solid understanding of OH&S requirements and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Familiarity with GMP procedures within pharmaceutical or food packaging environments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
