ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join the team working from their in their successful and thriving Brisbane CBD based office. This hand on role will see the successful candidate working in a collaborate small team environment with duties including (but are not limited to):
- Managing large volumes of information and correspondence
- Inbox management
- Diary management, including scheduling meetings and recording deadlines
- File management
- Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders on the telephone and in-person
- Electronic filing
- Working closely with the office manager to ensure smooth & efficient daily operation of the office
- Monthly billing for fee earners and general file management
- Travel coordination
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will be highly motivated with previous work experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant in a busy litigation team. Additional attributes include:
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive and confident personality
- Previous client billing experience
- Previous exposure to Elite highly desirable
