The Role
This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Legal Assistant to support partners within the Real Estate & Construction practice group. The role is integral to a fast-paced, friendly, and supportive team environment that spans both Sydney and Melbourne.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Opening and managing new files.
  • Coordinating property searches and maintaining related documentation.
  • Managing diaries and scheduling meetings.
  • Preparing, collating, and issuing documents for electronic signature via DocuSign.
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
  • Handling monthly billing and invoicing processes.
  • Liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Providing general administrative support as needed.
This role will suit a proactive individual with a strong desire to contribute meaningfully to the team’s success.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant within a law firm. While prior experience in property law is an advantage, candidates from other practice areas with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key qualifications and skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT tools.
  • A friendly, professional, and confident approach to client and stakeholder interactions.
