The Role
People2people are working with a large Australian Corporate law firm with offices in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra. The firm has over 650 partners and staff nationally, and offers a dynamic, friendly and professional work environment.
We are currently seeking an organised and motivated junior legal secretary to join the Adelaide Secretarial Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support their legal teams, work across various commercial practice areas within the firm, and benefit from support and training as you grow into the position. You will gain the confidence and skills necessary to manage your responsibilities effectively.
This role is a permanent full-time position based in the Adelaide CBD.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Liaising with clients and staff
- Diary management and travel booking
- Preparation of correspondence (emails, memos and letters)
- Assisting with monthly billing
- Managing electronic documentation
- Relief Reception
- Additional administration duties as required.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, legal experience desired but not required
- Strong organisational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- The ability to work well within a team environment.
