We are looking for a dedicated professional to join a small, supportive team for an initial six-month period, with the possibility of extension. About the role
This position working with a statutory body, plays a key role in managing information and records, both physical and digital. Your work will contribute to the protection and accessibility of historical records, support centenary planning and help shape the future of the Board’s information management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a suite of information management systems, policies, and procedures
- Enhance accessibility and security through mapping and digitisation of archival records
- Contribute to the information requirements to support the Board’s centenary planning,
- Build an understanding of the Board’s history and the architecture profession in Queensland
- Strong experience in information/records/archival management, ideally within State Government
- Knowledge of legislative requirements for information privacy and records management
- Advantageous skills: archives, library, or research/historian experience
- High-level IT skills (MS Office suite)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of state archives legislation advantageous
