About the Role:
We're looking for a talented Financial Controller to join our team for a 12-month fixed term. If you're passionate about finance and enjoy leading a team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You'll Do:
- Ensure all month-end processes are completed on time, review account reconciliations, and manage the finance and AP teams to meet reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate stock takes, work with auditors, and ensure year-end accounts are ready for sign-off by early December.
- Oversee the finance, AP, and AR teams, providing support and guidance, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and reconcile statutory returns, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Handle FX payments, trade finance, and authorize credit card and petty cash expenditures.
- Look for ways to improve business expenditure and department processes, and provide commercial support to operational managers.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree qualified in Finance / Accounting and CA/CPA membership
- General ledger reconciliation experience is essential
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
