About The Role:
Reporting to and working closely with the DC Controlling Manager, you will play a key role in managing financial and operational data within the Distribution Centre (DC), ensuring alignment with business goals.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage financial data, including budgeting, cost tracking, and performance analysis.
- Provide reports and insights on cost structures, operational performance, and sustainability metrics.
- Ensure invoicing accuracy, validate key cost drivers, and maintain financial quality control.
- Identify opportunities to enhance DC profitability, service levels, and operational efficiency.
- Develop action plans based on data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish structured reporting mechanisms aligned with global guidelines and audit requirements.
- Oversee contract negotiations and tendering processes for external service providers.
- Support the DC management team with financial and operational decision-making.
- Contribute to strategic planning by balancing cost efficiency, customer service, and sustainability.
- Supporting workforce planning and cost management.
About You:
- Strong expertise in finance, logistics, and DC operations.
- Previous Experience in a Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Inventory Management position is beneficial.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Project management skills, including budgeting, prioritisation, and execution of business cases.
- Agile and adaptable, with a mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Committed to diversity, inclusion, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Advanced Proficiency in Excel.
- SAP is experience is desired but not essential.
