About the Role
This is a fantastic 12-month temporary opportunity
for an experienced payroll specialist to take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing in a fast-paced and complex environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, industrial agreements, and internal policies while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing
- Payroll systems administration, including configuration and troubleshooting
- Applying and interpreting industrial agreements, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, including taxation, workers' compensation and long service leave regulations.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing expert payroll advice
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve payroll processes and efficiencies
- Proven experience in a similar payroll position
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and the interpretation of industrial agreements
- Hands-on experience in payroll system administration, including configuration
- High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
